Environment Policy

Wood has always been the material used for building boats over the centuries and as a supplier of high quality timber to the marine industry, we feel it is essential, where possible, to obtain responsibly harvested products.

In the timber industry, responsible harvesting has not yet become standard. However, with this comes limitations on sourcing purely certified timbers.

Nonetheless, many of our suppliers are now working towards providing certified timber, wherever it is available.

All timber is versatile and has the ability to regenerate. For the future, this allows for a continuing supply, if it is properly managed.

We feel that timber has a number of huge advantages over other materials & look forward to the future of supplying this highly versatile product.
